Is anyone using the video mode of the 5D Mark II? I have just started to play with it. Here is a link (I hope it works) to a short video I posted on Facebook of my grandson at his swim lesson a couple of days ago. The was handheld and I still am fooling around with the focus. This is prior to downloading the firmware update that allows for manual exposure control. Let me know what you think.

Looks pretty good to me. What lens were you using, and at what ISO?

I have seen that short before. Quite the shot list there. The credits are almost as long as the video.

I was using a 70-200 L 2.8 lens. The ISO was automatic, so I am not sure. The location was a gym pool that had pretty good natural light from side and roof windows. Mid-afternoon light, clear skies. I was impressed. It was not a major reason why I bought the camera but I think the feature will be useful.
Definitely. It's the future of SLRs, no question.
