Congrats on the new camera!! Have fun with it, it takes time to learn a new machine but over time you'll grow into it. It will work nicely for family photos and vacations. Happy birthday!
Hi all. I just got myself a Canon T3 as a birthday gift for myself. I would have got the T3i but my budget would not allow it. So far I am satisfied with it. Any comments and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh, not to be a bugger or anything, but I was really looking for a Nikon DSLR but for what I wanted the cost for that was like the national debt. I am happy with my choice so far.
i just purchased the canon rebel t5i. anyone else have this camera?
hi, bought a new canon pixma pro-1 printer, like to find info. for this printer
Yes i didnt real like is in AF- Auto focus i will try in MF- manual focus and see is work my IOS is set to 200
thanks guys I will try what you said is dark here now and cloudy i will try tomorrow
It sounds to me like you have the lens set to MF (manual focus) and the camera set to Tv or Av, possibly with ISO fixed too low - so it's the camera saying 'sorry, shutter speed/aperture/iso combination doesn't work', not the lens. Set the iso to auto and shutter speed to, say, 1000th/sec and let the camera find the aperture that matches. If you are convinced camera settings are OK, the lens may be saying 'sorry, can't autofocus', in which case switch to MF on the lens and manually set it to infinity, then see if you can get a shot. Hope this helps - once you fathom the problem you can make adjustments to get the sort of result you want.
If you have your lens on autofocus and the camera can't find a focus point, the shutter won't release. Try manual focus instead
I have a canon 1000d and trying to take a bird pic with a 75-300 lens and i need the setting for it please I put in M setting but will not lets me take it :(
can any one help me please and thanks
I have 550D and would like to be friendly with all those who have 550 D
I agree with what you said CameraClicker, I do enjoy the swivel screen on my 60D because it totally protects the screen when not in use. A touch screen would not be any use to me, I don't use Live View, at least not so far although I do shoot close to the ground on mushrooms and stuff. I use an Extreme Pro 16GB SDHC card and with no video that will more than accomodate a full days shooting in RAW with no problem.
I only shoot for myself so no one is asking for video and I wouldn't take it if they did. I've never used a CF card so I don't know if they are better or not. I'm sure I'll love my 7D if I ever get one, they have us cut down to 4 days a week at work and I'll be laid off soon. Maybe when I get my tax return at the end of Feb. I hope they're still around then. I buy some from KEH.com. They're used stuff is as advertised and they have good prices. I just looked at a webstore called AJRichies in New York state, they have NEW 7Ds for $744. USA warrenty. Ever hear of them?
