I seem to be having a focusing problem with my D5K. My subjects in the foreground are blurry and I can't seem to get them into focus. I've tried changing the metering, the focus points and changing the aperture. I'm not sure what else I need to change. I shoot in manual. I even tried putting the camera in auto and that didn't help either. I've cleaned the lense (and it seems clean) - with a towel. What else should I try?
I'm not sure what was done to my camera...I have 3 little ones who are very curious about things I don't let them touch so it's quite possible one of them changed something.

The ever common culprit camera shake could be the problem. Try placing your camera on a table and take a picture with the least amount of movement of the camera when the shutter release is depressed.
What would be helpful is to post of an example of one of your out of focus captures with info (ISO, f/stop, aperture, lens type).
