Lynn,,,that's his job.  He's a cowboy and this rodeo was the largest purse in the nation.  $200,000.  It was a two day event and I only went the first day..so I don't know the winner.

Thanks Paul.  Cool, maybe it's one of the highest purses in the nation then.  I'm just going by what someone told me, but thanks for the correction and the link.  I'll have to check that one out.  Are you a cowyboy!

Was it post production? One of the new small compact digi-cams (is it a Nikon?) has an action mode that does that totally terrific technique.

Yes, was done in post-production. I believe I was using a Nikon D300S for that shoot.

I know you're not supposed to put your horizons dead center, but I think it works here.
