This to me is sad in the sense that is shows the coming of winter.. And the death of simple organic beauty. The world is a hard place for little things and this is a prime example.. Soon these will wither away into nothing and become just another organic piece in the puzzle of nature.. Simple beauty dissapearing for another season.
Okayy Now Yer just gettin me all emotional an stuff..lol..Lovely Photo, and I Feel the Sentiment as well..Nice =))

On April 25 it is ANZAC day here in Australia [Australian & New Zealand Army Corps] where we remember all our wonderful men who fought to save our country and to free others [and who still are]
The statues are in Ballarat, Victoria and they depict the various countries where our troups have fought, they stand in water, as they all went from here to an overseas country. One is fallen, in rememberance of those who died and never came back. My Uncle was one of them. He died in a Prisioner of war camp and is buried in Thialand. I was the only neice he ever saw, I guess I may have been about 1 year old. I always feel sad, when I think about that.
Wow Beverley. Thanks so much for that. That is a touching narrative!
I always try to capture old buildings, when I can. I feel that taking a snap of them in some way helps to preserve them. At some point everything becomes rust or dust. Cool pic!
Whole Heartedly Zigman...yet lookin at the photo it's a Beautiful 'relic' there is Still that 'Beauty' about it =)))

This is a photo Of my Mother In law and her sister kissing there mother (and best friend) goodbye.
