I use several cameras in my photography. I have Nikons, Medium Format, and 4x5s. It is'nt the camera that makes the photo, it is the photographer. Given the right lighting and subject you can take great photographs with mid priced cameras as well as with higher priced cameras. Don't be ashamed if you are starting out with a mid range camera. I started 45 years ago with a Fuji Half Frame 35mm. camera. It was great! While other people were getting 36 exposures on their 35mm cameras, I could take 72 pics on the same roll of film. So enjoy photography, have fun with it and learn your skill well.
I have this camera. It has many features, but in aperture-priority mode it doesn't matter what aperture you choose the result is always the same (everything in focus); the zoom doesn't have 28mm wide angle range; its body is bulky -slim bodies are more discreet and easy to carry; and it is only 7.1Mpx. But I can take good photos with it easily.
