Take time to compose each shot, making sure to get in all you want and don't include so much that does nothing for your shot. The benches may be better by shooting a tiny bit more in front of them to angle your camera a bit away from all of that boring green grass to the left. The photo of the bridge walkway is great. Can you use your editing program to remove the distracting pole that is chopped off by the top of your photo? I love the graffiti in the righthand foreground on the railing. Each element tells a story so always look around the edges of your viewfinder to make sure you have everything in. Great job!

Permalink Reply by Jared Weaver on December 1, 2011 at 10:54pm I think the middle shot has by far the most potential to make an excellent HDR image. Try dialing up the surreal lighting effects. If you use Photomatix Pro you can do this by adjusting the lighting adjustments bar toward the left. Crank up the strength and luminosity and adjust the saturation to your liking and it will make the image much more dramatic. Here's an example of the surreal lighting effects-
