yeah, i hear you... this was bracketed with aperture - handheld (no tripod)... that might explain the softness... good eye, rob... and thanks for stopping by! :)

You lost some of the detail in your snowy roadway shot and it is a bit too soft-focused. Your bridge shot is an eye-grabber, very dramatic with the color of the bridge in the dark snowy scene. I like the house shot the best since it has such simplicity. Try taking the contrast down just a tad to soften the look, recover the highlights a bit (Lightroom is fantastic at that!) to see if you can bring back in a bit more detail in the foreground snow and roof. Great composition!
