Permalink Reply by Jared Weaver on November 30, 2011 at 8:18am I think the background is more distracting than the people driving. The mass of bright colors draws the eye away from the car. Other than that, the composition is nice and the HDR effect is well controlled. I see too many people go overboard trying to create "hyper-real" HDR images.

Permalink Reply by Rob Bixby on February 26, 2012 at 5:34am I agree with Jared, the background during parades is very hard to control. I try to shoot either the beginning, or the end of the route so I can get shots that bring the subject out more. The limited use of HDR in this image brings a lot of detail without wiping out a great example of a 58 Corvette too.
Permalink Reply by Reg Warboys on February 26, 2012 at 5:49am Hi Taunie you can easily blur the people in the background, plus I would give some motion to the wheels, make the car look like its moving, pull the viewers eyes to the main part of the image.
