Fall Photography - October 2008

This month, the category is Fall Photography. Which means we are expecting a lot of colorful nature photos that are common to this season. But that doesn't necessarily mean you are restricted to only nature-related photos.

Enter a photo by joining the group and attaching the photo to your response in this discussion, not a new discussion.

Contest Rules:
1. Entry photos must be somehow related to fall photography.
2. Post-processing or photo editing is allowed, but keep in mind if you go overboard on it, people probably won't vote for your photo.
3. 1 photo per person per month.
4. Members can give their opinions about entries, and then the entries will be narrowed down to three in the last few days of the month for final voting in a new discussion.

Permalink Reply by rob jillson on October 3, 2008 at 7:38am: I love the marks that the Fall leaves make on the sidewalks after a rain. For the last few years I have been taking pictures of my favorites. For this photo, there is no manipulation of this image other than to turn it black and white and process it as high contrast. One leaf was still wet on the pavement and the other had blown away leaving it's stained image behind. It will be interesting to see how many others post images in black and white.
