Cold Weather Photography Gloves?

Greetings all, 

I was curious to know what you all use for gloves in the cold weather? I've tried these two which are thin and have proven to be ineffective in cold weather for more than a few minutes:

I've also tried various sporting goods stores (like Dick's) in the hunting section and professional hunting stores (like Cabella's) with little to no luck.

Does anyone have any have any suggestions for what to use where one may still have the index finger and thumb are either free to manipulate the camera or to at least allow the photographer enough dexterity to still manipulate the camera functions? Any help or suggestions would be extremely helpful! Thank you!
