D80 Under Hard Weather Conditions

is there anybody who tried teh D80's performance under hard weather conditions?

for instance what about water resistant of d80 body?

I have a D80. I use it in all types of conditions...in cold 29 degree weather....fire hot enough to blister the skin if not protected....damp conditions. I do however keep it out of very wet conditions. When at a fire if I see the water coming I hull around the camera if I can't get out of the way quick enough and I do the same at night fires if I hear it coming. I did however purchase camera armor to protect the body from water dripping on it but the lens has no protection so again my camera is first in line to get protected.

Hello Lisa . I know that I`m quite late to ask . just read your comment. As you said ; you use Nikon D80 in all kind of situation. Just wondering about cleaning job? How did yo clean your camera? Looking forward to hear you. Thanks
