I am new to this site and this forum and I have searched for an answer but I have failed to find any information, so I am asking for help.
I was wondering how many of you you use the Nikon software Capture NX?
I use NX 99% of the time for my photographs and the other 1% is Photoshop.
Is there a group for Capture NX?
I do not expect to see answers like Photoshop, Aperture, Lightroom and the rest is better.
Hello
I use NX 1.3 maybe 50%. Mostly to make simple adjustments, and only if I'm working TIFF or RAW for a latter JPEG convertion.
I confess that probably I don't use it much cause there are some tools missing or I just don't known how to take advantage of it.
So I would be trilled to join the group.
I got view NX and Nikon Transfer with my D80. Those aren't the same as Capture NX is it?

Nikon Transfer is software to get the files from the camera to the PC. I have never used it as I always use a card reader.
View NX is a browser to look at the files once on the hard disk. I always use this to look at the files and to enter the details into the EXIF file on each file. If you are using the original, from disc, check your local Nikon site as it has been upgraded, twice I think.
Capture NX you have to pay for and is now on version 2.2.
