THE GROUP.

Nikon has been renowned for high-quality optics and camera equipment since they were founded in 1919. The history of Nikon cameras began in 1948, the year that the Nikon I, the company's first camera was released. Today Nikon continues that legacy with an outstanding line of digital SLR (single lens reflex) cameras including the D90, D300, D800, D3 and the new D3x.

This group is a place for users of all Nikon digital SLR and point-and-shoot cameras to share their experiences, demonstrate techniques through example, and discuss Nikon's latest offerings.

Cheers!~
Maeda

Warren Causer I use the Yongnuo  YN-560 II with my D90 and I love it. I have used the SB-600 and don't see any real differences. for the money you can't beat it. :) This is just my opinion

I`m thinking of buying a flash and just wondering if a yongnuo  yn-560III will work with my nikon d 60 . As I do not have much money to this is a cheaper way to go for me at this time

Hi Paul Shanley, Paul in relation to your comments with the Nikkor 28mm f2.8- do you find this is one of the better lenses for Landscape photography - for sharpness

How much did you pay for it Paul.

Cheers John Gregory

Nikon made three lenses in that range, 20mm, 24mm (I think) and 28mm. I have both the 20mm and 28mm f/2.8 AIs and they are great for landscapes and for walking around a city centre. They are well worth the cheap price you will pay for them.

Comment by Paul Shanley on July 28, 2013 at 8:10am

Landscapes do not require autofocus. Get outstanding quality cheap get the Nikkor Ai(s). I recomend the Nikkor 28mm f 2.8 Ai(s). Available used at many outlets can get new only at B&H photo. Without autofocus this lens is a breeze to focus.
