By the way!  Has anyone ever seen the "windless" kites?  I am going to look for them this year...apparently you can fly them in doors with no wind...sounds pretty interesting!

Thanks Vee.  Yours too!  Isn't it great when the kites are sailing and the sky is so blue!  Makes it all come together!  :-)  Mine were taken at SPI, Texas.  We will be going back again this year.  I think the festival is in Feb. But they fly them almost every Sat. weather permitting.

i make my own kite and take it to a kite festival in miami every year. i usually have a ton of people come up to me and ask me about it, especially when they hear it make noise in the air. i make it from scratch and been doing it since i was about 5 back home in guyana south america. as kids we use to race to see who would make the loudest noise making kite. months leading up to easter all you would see in the skies were different colors of kites.
