Hi Steve. Yes I am sure we will get things figured out. In any event I had a lot of my settings pre-set while riding there & so far, I am pretty pleased with the results. I have an engine on a 1972 Chevy I'll be posting in the discussion shortly. I have to do quite a bit of editing with this lens. That is OK because not only am I learning all the manual features on my camera but I am learning quite a bit of editing stuff as well. I really NEED to KNOW & get GOOD at these things.

Hi Steve. My ex wife is the my 'ride' to these things. She is SO TUNED IN to other BS & is ALWAYS on me to 'hurry up'. SHE had to be somewhere else....FAST!! As a result my pics come out SHITTY!! I am TRYING to improve on my work & CAN'T concentrate on things ESPECIALLY when using NEW gear I am TRYING to learn on. So during the week I usually go alone somewhere where I can shoot things just for practice. I need a new ride somehow.

Why did you only have 20 minutes to shoot photos Karl??

Comment by Karl Rose yesterday

YAY!! The cruise ins are back in season!! Nice shots Steve. I was the opener yesterday. I only had 20 minutes to shoot leaving me less than a minute to shoot each pic with my new lens. I'll be placing those in the discussion area here during the week as I upload them.
