Comment by Alf Ryhn on February 25, 2012 at 9:10am I made this photo to look like an old photo in LightRoom 3 This is a Model B ford from 32 build to look like they build hotrods in the late 30s Yes the HotRod tradition is not a modern thing its start in late 20s whit T fords .And like other modern things such as engines with four valve technology its not so modern like as people think . There was a guy here in sweden that made accessory head with four valve technology i dont rember what year but i think it whas in late 30s he made this things
Comment by S. Lloyd Winn on February 22, 2012 at 8:17am Sounds like you guys had that engine spruced up quite a bit. I'm still trying to get my brother in law to send me photos of his '78 Ford Pickup he's built.
Comment by Alf Ryhn on February 21, 2012 at 3:13pm Opps i forget it was not my car i just help to build this car it was a friends car its sold now . Yes the 283/327 engines are realy nice engine . the engine in this car are a realy nice one its around 400 hp its have two 4 barrels carburators from edelbrock on a medium rise manifold and have 11:1 pistons i dont remember whats camshaft it was but its a roller cam thats i remember and the heads are from a 327 hi perfomence corvette engine
Comment by S. Lloyd Winn on February 21, 2012 at 2:37pm The old 283 and 327 Chevy engines we're fairly easy to build into real nice race and show engines. I bet the 283 engine in your car is a nice engine in itself....
Comment by Alf Ryhn on February 21, 2012 at 2:15pm Yes its a realy nice car and its realy good driver to
