So after being out of more serious photography for about 16 years I picked up a D90 a month or so ago, and have been shooting my but off :)
I was trying to bring out the blue in this picture as much as I can. I used just the camera blue intensifier, but is there anything else i could use to bring out colors....
50mm, F/4, 1/60s, ISO 200, WB color balance 6250k, Picture controle active D lighting
Some of my first attempts at portrait photography..
52mm, F/5, 1/200s, ISO 320, WB Auto, Picture controle active D lighting
50mm, F/1.8, 1/60s, ISO 200, WB color balance 6250k, Picture controle active D lighting
85mm, F/5.6, 1/60s, ISO 200, WB color balance 6250k, Picture controle active D lighting
1 - to bring out the blue you could use colour popping in PS and de-sat the rest of the photo a little
2 - would crop in the right side to get rid of the orange and ear making the shot even more personal - like the lady's eyes in this one.
3 - Fab shot what a hoot
4 - my fav so far but the background is not great I had a little go at it in PS - hope you like my take.
BTW good tip for uploading for C&C size your pics about 600 pix on longest side - this makes it better to upload and view. (I always save a small size for upload and keep my original size as well)
