Nice rich colours Rob. Looks like you used a polarizer from the looks of the sky (or a vignette effect). If you shot from a much lower angle you could eliminate some of the background clutter and include more sky.
I kind of agree with Vito, a lower angle may/probably would have helped, but, the photo is clutter "colorful clutter" and the back ground is a lot less distracting here than would be in another photo and may even help describe what's going on. I am wondering if this photo could have been a nice abstract, say with a wide open lens, and then bracket down. I like the shot, but I think experimenting with photoshop filters (while keeping the original intact) would be cool with this one.

Dennis, that's a great idea. As far as keeping the original intact, I use Lightroom for all my initial work and it allows me the option of creating a virtual copy and working everything without ever touching the original. I'll see what I come up with and post it here.
