With the Peek-A-Boo shot: This time i think I have the shot much better, the cat is looking at me at least!! I wasnt sure on whether I wanted to crop to wall out of it or not so I left it in...

And with Izzy I think its a bit better shot of her too...

Those shots show the great personality cats can have. Nice work.

The second shot is fab!! Great eye contact (I have 2 cats myself and they are great subjects even if they don't sit still)

The first I would crop some of the botton and the focus on the eyes would be better a little sharper.

Not sure about the blurred border but that is a personal taste thing - I prefer the sharp border framing the shot.

The 2nd shot is cute.

The first I find much more interesting. I'd love more focus on the face. The paws are hilariously good. I think the border is crowding the image.

I think both are cute! I dislike the borders. I agree that the borders crowd the images, more noticeably on the first.

1st: Good space above the ears. I think the wall adds depth, or more appropriately length, and more room for texture, texture contrast to the soft fur, and interest for the viewing eyes. I would measure on thirds. Maybe the cat could take up 2/3 while the wall took up 1/3 of the picture. Or vice versa. Or not at all. That would have to be played with and left up to personal opinion, but I do like the wall. It also adds more explanation of the cat. If you didn't see the wall, you wouldn't know why his nose-down wasn't visible. While the space above and space below are good, the paw on the left is cut off and poses an imbalance from the larger space on the right. I don't think the imbalance of space would matter as much if the cat was facing the opposite direction, but the line of subject's sight is short. Next time, I would allow more space around both paws. I think the gray tone is brilliant, though I would like to see more distinction between the irises and pupils, but that's just nitpicking.

2nd: The paws are cut off but the 'arms' are still showing, hanging out into space. Next time, I would include the extents of the paws in the frame. I would also like to see a little more context; it looks like she's in a wheel barrel, but it's unclear.
