I like this a lot,my only suggestions would be to add a foreground (grab a tree limb rock, whatever) and then raise the horizon line to about 3/4 of the photo, while the sky is interesting, the most interesting parts are near the horizon line and I feel it would be more inpactful by including less of it, more importantly, having the path end higher in the photo would strengthen the composition.
It does appear that you know what you want to shoot, which is great, the trick is even if you have just taken the best shot ever, keep shooting and moving around, because it will all look different at home
