I like it a lot Dennis. I think it would be cool if you could see more details of the bike colors, but as a silhouette it works well.

I would like to see it cropped a little lower to keep the bottoms of the wheels in the frame. I like the colors in the background. The exposure on the trike has me thinking two ways. First, pop a little bit of fill to bring out the details without overpowering the shadows. Or, bring the exposure down and make it a true silhouette.
Overall, I like the image and concept.

my thought was to make a still life with a fake sunset background, my reflector was to small (thus the cropping)(42" go figure)I will resubmit this photo in a day or two when I have it worked out.

I suppose the tricycle is reach of the old rusty beautiful texture and wears “soft” wooden handles. It would be as much interesting to see them as the engineering of the machine itself.
All of that was sacrificed for some ….frugelistic color.
I think there should be emphasis on the bike’s character with the support of a more natural color.

I understand what you're saying (don't know what frugelistic means), but the trike itself is just brick a brack that adorns a kitchen shelf, I was really just trying to "recreate" a sunset and chose the trike as a random subject.
