It's an interesting subject. Try cropping in a little to cut the distractions out of the sides and raise the horizon. A few bikini's in the foreground would help:)

Everything is centered but it kind of works here. You could have lowered your camera to the water level or just closer to the water to get a different perspective

I agree with the distractions on the side, otherwise, good pic.

Nice image.

I understand the desire to protect your creative work from duplication, but putting the sig in the middle like that kinda kills it for me... IMHO...

Thank you very much to all of you for your honest opinions which made a lot of sense. So, taking on board all of the comments, here's another image which I took (I didn't know I had this one), obviously with a little bit of cropping and post editing managed to bring out the best of the images I took while on holiday.

I'm new to this site; so feel free to ignore my comment or correct me. I double clicked on the image to get a view at full screen size. My first critical comment is that the image is too small for a detailed analysis. Keeping that in mind, I'll make a few suggestions. My personal preference would have been to crop to just below the bottom of the reflection. The additional negative space detracts from the shot. Secondly, I hate white skies. Depending on your software and skill level with manipulation, I probably would have isolated the sky and deepened the blue. Anyway, that's my story, and I'm stickin' with it.

Thank you for your comments Roger. I appreciate your comments.

Photoshop a different sky in there maybe??

@ Iain

do you not think that the reflection in the water would look a little odd if you composited in a new sky?

Of course you could use the 'Flaming Pear' flood filter to replicate a reflection of the new sky, but its useful to add this point..

What if you bring back the color of the sky from the first pic.  It is dark at the top and fades as if approaches the buiding?  That way it is not darker then the color off the pool reflection.

Here's another version. I used the reflection from the water and flipped it vertically. Please comment again.
