I am sorry but this doesn't work for me. Firstly too much colour, also the strange angle of the grass behind and the white in the foreground as well as the odd angle of the flower are all very distracting. The focus is not that great either.

If you are going to do close up of flowers then micro shots without much background work best. When taking nature pics I like them best when they look natural and unfortunately this doesn't. Sorry to be so negative but I hope my comments help.

I looked at your photos and my best suggestion is to switch off your date on your camera as this spoilts your shots and try and keep your horizons straight unless there is a reason for it being on an angle (you can straighten and the crop in PS). I like the one from the plane but I would crop out the bit of wing in the pic. The elephants are good too and the one of you is fab (very pretty!!)

I agree, it doesn't look natural. I love doing Macro shots myself and I've had many that didn't turn out quite like I wanted them to.

Was there a different angle you could have taken, perhaps without the driveway in the background? Also the image looks really blown out. Did you make some PS adjustments to the bottom of the flower? i see an unnatural black outline there.

I'm not a big fan of pastel colors anyway so this shot doesn't appeal to me. A bit too much contrast as well.
