this was taken inside a not so well lit store, portrait of and old man who sells ice cream for a living, what made me took his photo was the lights on the side of his face from the reflection of the windshield of a vehicle outside, but it was a little dark inside the store

Excellent portrait. I think you just need to get rid of the distracting with on the right. Tone it down a lot or turn it to black.
