Hi all. Just joined this group today. I have heard a lot on RAW since joining this network. I have a Samsung WB100 but I don't think it shoots in RAW. I am basically 'old school'. With the exception of my Samsung(purchased last Oct 2012) all my shots are slides/negs that I am converting to jpeg. Now I hear a lot on RAW. The software I have can convert to RAW but I'd rather shoot in So now that I am REALLY mixed-up, I am just wondering what all the fuss is about RAW? I just went to Barnes & Noble & picked up something all about RAW. So I guess I'll know soon enough. It appears that if I want to SHOOT RAW, I'll need to upgrade to a better DSLR. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Kathy, I would suggest that you try these websites to learn more about the tools in CS5.  Not all of them are brilliant but they do introduce you to the different elements.  If you get stuck, send me a wave.
