I softened the background a bit to bring the highlights to her face.  Any comments appreciated.

Yes there are a lot of ladies on here you could crop it up to the edge of the arm and shoulder and it would still be a good image.

Yes the silhouettes are well placed.  I would definitely level the horizon though.  Nice shot.

It is a good image but the one on your page (shown below) is more powerful in light and esp in composition where two figures surrounded by a vast space creates a sensation of isolation. an illusion of space less and timelessness
