Ditto the black background suits it well.

ok last one for this morning.

Good composition and textures you were brave to capture the snake or was he safely behind glass.

Did ya all miss me?  We're over to the apt now.  Still lots of stuff in the house to get rid of, but the necessary stuff is all over here, including us.  And just in time, too.  The van died tonight.

Hi all.

Trying to get back in the habit of checking in here from time to time.  :)   Geri, I LOVE " TYSON/HOLYFIELD"   =D

Our girl, Emma, has been recovering from illness all week.  She had a cold (we thought) most of last week, but nothing serious. Then last Saturday, she woke at about 3am hollering and crying.  I went to check and she was burning up with a bad fever, was having coughing fits, and seemed to be struggling to breath.

I ended up staying up with her all night, until she finally fell asleep on the couch with me at about 6:30.  (I was exhausted as I'd only gone to bed about midnight, so only had 3 hours sleep when I got up at 3... ahh the things we do for our babes!  lol)

Anyway, Lisa (my wife) took Emma to the walk-in clinic Sunday, and they thought she might have pneumonia, and referred us to the ER, where we went, and a couple hours later had confirmation of likely pneumonia.

So Emma's about half way through a round of anitbiotics, and has been home all week with either Lisa or me.  The last couple days she's been way better, has her energy back, and able to sleep through the night.  Yay!

Here's a shot I took today down at the local park, Emma looking like her old self.

Glad to hear Emma is getting better nice capture.
