Hello Geri, you did not mention me in your long list of well wishers?

ok, i start the discussion today. i spent the day just relaxing. at present sitting near the hearth with laptop in my lap. God i have to submit a list of assignment before hitting the bed.

shall keep the tab of group on, for periodical peeping in to the chattering group

Good morning/evening, Aamir.

Good evening TJ. we are 10 hours ahead of you. it is now 5.30 pm.

it is ok, Geri, i was just kidding:-)

I totally love irises.  But I can't decide what color is my fav.  The neighbor tells me there's a little garden strip out front and everyone plants flowers.  What shall I plant??  Have to be one that comes up from a seed since it's too late for bulbs now.  Can never remember if it's annuals or perennials.  I think you have to plant annuals every year. ?

I am no expert on flowers so i would not know one flower from the next the buds are watching over the butterfly nice back lighting on the wings.

Hi tj annuals have to be planted every year. I love Gerbera daisies they come in beautiful colors and attract butterflies too

Good capture and exposure on the whites.

The image in full nice good crop and edit of the top flower.

The second one is wonderful image, very emotional , conveying the feeling of isolation and melancholia.

Thank you Aamir.  It's a snowing scene today. Directly out the back door are a couple of trees and the landlord said YES!  I can put up a bird feeder!

Yup.  You're getting up there, Geri.  Reno will be 89 the end of May.  Both his folks lived to their mid-nineties and he'll surpass them (if I don't kill him before) but still that's a scary number to say.
