Introduce yourselves
Hi, I am Christine.
I live in the UK, in a town on the River Thames called Leigh on Sea.which is in Essex. (Directly east of London)
I like to take landscapes and macro. Not too keen on portraits, as I get uncomfortable when taking the,.
I like the ability you have to take a digital image and change it, and so do have interest in HDR - but am yet to make the time to do a real HDR, so I have been playing with Pseudo HDR - with some good results (at least I think so ;) ) I am also interested in night photography, but haven't really had a lot of time at that yet.

You will learn a lot from this group. Just look through the various forums and join the groups you are interested in.

Hi, I'm Carrie...
I live in good ol' Nebraska. I just bought my Nikon D90..quite and upgrade from my lil point and shoot kodak 4mp! So, I'm learning HOW to use this camera and just wingin it really. I dont understand the settings and whatnot, just taking pics and hoping they turn out good! LOL! But I do love to capture just about anything...cars, barns, animals, people, families, moments..not really into flowers or things like that. Anything I do take pictures I play with in photoshop..I have CS4..another HUGE upgrade for me from PS7...lots and lots to learn and really I am just enjoying it and not looking to be PRO or anything. I dont know which I like more..the photography part or the photoshopping part?!?!?
Personal stuff...I am a retired Dental Hygienist due to complications from my 2nd back surgery(still in alot of pain)..and am just trying to manage it, so now Im a receptionist in an orthodontic office and also have a 2nd job taking care of the elderly. I have 3 dogs, two golden retrievers, Annie & Oakley, and my fiance's dog, a choc lab, Toby.
I have a 19yr old daughter who just became an EMT and is going on for paramedic!
My fiance and I are getting married in May! YAY!
And..I think that's about it for now! -

Hi, I'm Matt. I'm a professional wedding photographer in Kansas, USA. I spent a lot of time in the traditional darkroom, but now I love Photoshop. I'll shoot anything, but mostly portraits, landscapes, live music, and people living life. I've used a number of previous versions of PS, but this year I did upgrade to CS4.

Hi Im Michelle from El Paso Texas, I am the mother of two beautiful girls who do pageants so we do alot of pictures in our house... My wonderful husband is in the army, so we stay very busy, and it allows me to stay at home with the kids. I love to take photos of anything and everything, I am not a professional by any means but I would love to be someday... for now it is just a hobby. I also love to play with CS2 and pspx I got in to doing web pages and graphics for a while but I would always go out with my camera to take pics to use in them..lol and now with the kidos in pageants it is my main focus for the time being...
Cant wait to chat and toss ideas around with everyone...

Welcome Michelle and thanks for the intro! There doesnt seem to be alot of things going on in this group right now,but I'd like to change that! I'm not a pro by any means either..I just got a camera this past Xmas along with CS4..so Im learning BOTH at the same time. I think I might be better at CS4 than the camera! So, if you have any suggestions on how to help get this group hopping..lemme know!!!
