A friend of mine has just started doing ordinary Wedding Photography as an apprentice to a Pro, and heard about this.
She has bought a 2nd hand dress, we have a model and are going out to try it, and I was looking for some pointers. She has sourced 3 locations: 1 Wood, 1 Lake and 1 beneath a bridge.
Just interested in any experiences people have had, sort of kit people use, lighting etc.
We are thinking that this will be a right grin, and maybe something we could offer if it works out.
We are going out on sunday, so I will post the photos when I am done. But I could still do with any feedback etc that anyone who has done this may have.
I did that for a friend of mine recently and honestly I suggest if you're going near waterfall/river/stream then you both need some good boots or good shoes to wear so you don't get your feet hurt while climbing in or through the stream. you can really just have fun with it and take your time.
Personally I used my Nikon D90 with a Sigma 18-200 OS lens plus I carried a light tripod for some of the shots. I sat down on one rock with my feet in the water with the tripod set down in the water for the flowing water shots.
I am going to take a pair of steps with me too - to get the top down looks. I don't think we are going to be far from the car park - or the steps will stay in the car :)

I think of "drama" and "emotions" when I think of B/W and I…"
