Try starting with ...F 11 SS 250 and use tripod. Then play from that point. F16 and so on. WB I use auto and sometimes play with that to using cloudy for warm or tungsten for blue.  Goodluck!

Hello all,

Trying for something with the mountains in the background tonight.

The moon comes up over the Wasatch range here.

what's the best option?

Long tele, 400mm or ?? Speed? f-stop? WB?

I just haven't had much luck with tis capture so far

Help is much needed!

Fill Flash..You can also adjust the ISO and shutter to get both of them

Here's something I took few days back. If I make the foto dark, I can see the spot & round moon but the high crane will be lost. Any suggestion on how to capture both of them?
