Hi: I have the following equipement:
Canon EOS 5D
Celestron altima 1000
Canon ring mount adaptor
Manfrotto tripod (model: the biggest you can imagine)
Remote release control
...and a lot of patience
But I jus can not get a cristal clear, tack sharp picture of the full moon, crescent moon or whatever phase the moon is at!!!
Anyone can give some advise about the right settings?.
Maybe today I´ll try some shoots, todas i the day after fullmoon.

If you want to get lunar details like craters and hills, don't shoot the full moon. The full moon will give you a flat image. It is the shadows created by sunlight coming at an angle that shows the lunar details. When the moon is high in the sky, your shutter speed would be about 1/125" to 1/200" and ISO-100. Slow shutter speeds will create a bright image like a lamp in the sky. If the moon is low, you will need a slower shutter speed 1/30 - 1/60" or experiment with even slower speeds. Good luck with shooting the moon.
