It is a new toy for me. I got a week ago. Both I have time to explore the technology into my a65V. I bought in november.
This is not a full frame, it is the new generation sensor APS HD.
What a piece of technology (amazing)!!!
The XGA OLED view finder with defferent setting (you can see the change of aperture or speed gone do on picture or not) and info appear in (like the histogram, Level and much more).
I thing I like no I love that machine!!
I need little bit of time to control all thing they put into that machine.
HDR (JPEG setting) into.
But JPEG at 24.3 it's like RAW at 12.2.
Noise reducing by the addition of 3 to 8 pict take at very speed and merge into one picture.
Welcome Joie and thank you Paul also Richard thinking about the A77 this year as need to up grade really what are your feeling on it and is it a full frame!!
Personnaly I use a 2X teleconverter, both you have to think about the f or openning of lense.
If I use 2x on f2.8, it will a f5.6 with the téléconverter and it with the 1.4x on f2.8 will be a f4 or f4.2.
You do the calculation with all kind of G lense and you will know how much light you loose.
Thanks. I assume that 1.4x would be the best in regards to light passing thru and loss of light?
Yes on both lense, the 70-400G will be MANUAL focus and the 70-300 need to be a G lense for working with teleconverter.
Speaking of lens does anyone know if I can use a teleconverter on either of my 7-300mm or my 70-400mm lens?
