In the very near future I will be upgrading from my A200 to an A55 or A65. I know of the Megapixel difference between the two as well as the Noise differece. I know that they are compirable on just about everything else, except video resolution. Basically, I am asking for personal experiences and thoughts on both. I am also looking at getting a new 10-24 2.8 or lower lens to add to my collection, and was wondering if there is a reccomendation for any specific brand from any of you. Thanks!

Essentially I wanted a cam that was smaller ( for travelling) yet would take great photos. So far so good. I enjoy my camera very much But I am looking at the A65-77 primarily for the better OLED viewfinder ( much better in low light) But what piques mu curiosity regarding the A77 is the water and dust sealing As I get more into nature and landscape photography I can't help but think that will prove to be a blessing in the future. In regards to megapixels I don't believe that we needed more I believe that we needed better pixels or better noise reduction. Also remember if you mov up to the A65 it will be bigger and the A77 bigger again. Best of luck with your decision. Let us know wht you decided and how it working out for you

Permalink Reply by Paul Brooks on January 28, 2012 at 3:37pm I went ahead and secured my purchases for pick up in two weeks from today. I ended up going for the A65
SLTA65 w/ kit 18-55mm SAM lens
I am also planning on some CPL filters for both lenses, as well as a 2x and 4x ND filter for each.
