Wall Springs, Palm Harbor

This was taken from the top of the lookout tower. I went to the bottom to shoot him closer and he flew away..... just my luck....

I went off the beaten path and this guy landed right in my sight... perfect timing!

I can't beleive I caught him on the one and only shot I took. I tracked him forever.

Not quite as clear as it could be but them suckers are fast!

Wow what a great park.

Nice shots, Kari. Its hard to get a night heron (I believe thats what the third shot is) They are hard to spot lurking in the mangroves. Nice bee catch - reminds me of the opening scene from "Joe's Apartment" !

He came in the brush and posed for a few shots and left. Heather and I were very close to him.
And the bee was an awesome shot. I was trying forever and can't believe that I actually caught him the one time I tried.
It was very beautiful there. I will definitely venture back, but maybe not at the hottest part of the day. lol
