This is a group for the photographers who love to shoot in the most rundown, dilapidated, dirty, and sometimes illegal places and take amazing photos. Abstract, Macro, Portrait, Landscape it doesn't matter as long as it's grungy and beautiful.

Urban Exploration : Urban exploration (often shortened as urbex or UE) is the examination of the normally unseen or off-limits parts of urban areas or industrial facilities.[1] Urban exploration is also commonly referred to as infiltration, although some people consider infiltration to be more closely associated with the exploration of active or inhabited sites. It may also be referred to as "draining" (when exploring drains) "urban spelunking", "urban caving", or "building hacking". - Wiki.

As you read above Urban Exploration goes by many names, but means one thing, going into worn out, broken down, discarded buildings, towns, or anything of that nature and taking pictures of what you find. No matter the type of picture it is still concidered Urban Exploration.

This groups main purpose is to learn more about it or tell stories about your experiences and even show off some of your work. So have at it.

This is a great way to get groups of people together and go out for the day and go at it. We do not condone illegal areas or trespassing of any kind.

There are many good websites that explain Urban Exploring and even have amazing photos and tips on where to find sites and even photographic tips.
