Lemme start with one of my photos :-) This one is called "Waiting For the Night Train". Let's see yours! ;-)

"BEATING THE BLUES"
Nice shot !! Were you driving ? Looks like you were on the right side of the car :-)
You got it right! :D
Take it easy Harry , enjoy the peace while you can. I can see it now, burnt sausages, overcooked mixed vegetables, packet mashed potato and dried up gravy the same every Wednesday nite for the last 6 years. Then there's the kids 2 unruly, loud mouthed teenage boys who think the wor;d owes them. and Linda who sits and does nothing but complain like her mother. then there is the big mistake, 3 year old Shannon who screams from morning till night and covers the floor with every conceivable toy in the house. That was a bad slip up, should have got nicked before we went on that long weekend. Not much I can do about it now. At least this place give me alittle peace and serenity and order. Pull your self together Harry, here comes your train.

Wow! what a touching story you have.. nice one! Eva, you can also upload picture here.. and tell me your story.. thanks.
I wrote the reply for the man waiting for the night train and it put the other photo there do not know how to change it
'The Balinese Sisters' is one of my favourite people shots not just because i am so very fond of them both as people but there is also so much in this photo that reflects this particular point in changing times for the people of Bali. I could go into more detail but would be interested to hear what other people think of it/see in it.
Now something has gone wrong here and I have ended up with just an attachment of the photo. Sorry, its the first time I've tried to do this and my time is up tonight so it will have to stay as it is for now! Sorry folks maybe I'll have another shot tomorrow.
PS I love Eva's train station story.

The older sister's facial expreesion is somewhat telling the world the pain she is enduring.. My question is; Is it a pain due to illness or pain due to sadness of having no choice in life but to do the things she has been doing in decades in order to survive... and it maybe both.. I've seen a lot of this situation in so many third world country.. and all we can do is to love our life and be grateful of what we have.. for Life is Beuatiful... don't be afraid sHARE and be GRATEFUL.
Interesting observation! I have to say the pain is probably due to her arthritis, which all Balinese women over the age of 40 seem to suffer from, especially in their neck and shoulders, due to the heavy weights that they constantly carry on their head. They are the 'beasts of burden' on building sites etc.
Can you tell me why I ended up with the link and not the phot0? what I am doing wrong ?
