Always open to constructive criticism. So don't be shy if you think of some way I can improve my work.
Thank you.

Hi John,
I think you can improve your photos. Your photos (all of your shots) need a color correction. Just use "curves" (in Photoshop) to improve the colors.

I appreciate the trouble you went to edit the image. Not to sure if I like your version or not looks to cool and washed out for my liking. But might be our different monitor settings or maybe just different views. that's the thing about Photography everyone has and is entitled to your own opinion. Will be interesting to see what others think.
All my images are edited in Lightroom, Photoshop is only required for major changes to a file, otherwise Lightroom is much quicker when you have a 1,000 images to edit.
Thank you - your comment and effort is appreciated.

If Eugene's image is the one on the right, then I must have to agree with Eugene, it has a warmer and more full filling feeling about it, which in turn the helps the overall sale of an image. Your images do look like they need a lift. I would check your monitor settings, if you think Eugene's image is a little cooler, because I think he has done a good job in lifting the image just enough.

Have to agree with Eugene as well as his edition of the photo - the one on the right - is much more vibrant. You can achieve this in LR as well as there's a curves function, and many others to improve saturation; heck, you can even manipulate individual colors within an image and you can do this in PS. I use both, and do my final touches in PS.
Take for instance you wanted to emphasis the red lipstick only ... this can be achieved with layers and masking - color balance. Just some in put from personal experience ... you surely already know this.
