Just read a newspaper article here in Omaha, Nebraska about the large number of sitings in Nebraska and Iowa.  Would love to be able to get a shot of one though? Apparently the leming population is on a down cycle and they seem to like the deer mice in this region.

Stunning stunning stunning shots Kevin. We don't get Snowies in the UK so I've only ever seen them in captivity. Beautiful birds. Lucky you.

The Snowys are moving down from ther North. I guess it was a great year for newborns.  They head across Lake Ontario when hunting get to competitive.

Charlie, the colors are wonderful -- the shots are great I particularly like the first one with his top not thing all ruffled and his foot in the air.
