FORD australia stopped manufacture of the XG Panel Van in 1996 . However Panel Van Lovers (surfies and Trades people ) would have missed them the most . Desperate Aussies do deperate things , and in the early decades of 21st Century , they chose to convert a sedan into a Van . Intuition and money can achieve many things , hence this magnificent self made .

I don't see many cars with what we once called "wire wheels"on , nowadays . MG sports or tourers usually came with spoke wheels . I cannot recall the number of spokes the different (year) models had , but my choice would have been the 72 per wheel . They look great .

This is a similar model Ford (XP) , to my first Company vehicle , and there was no Fringe Benefit Taxation back then , Thank goodness .

Here is an Ozzie 1963 Falcon Wagon Engine Bay . I always kept my bays very clean , but never spent the sort of money that would give this effect . haha.

You may have seen something like this overseas , but seldom in Oz . It was a Ford Galaxie conversion , from Sedan to a Utility ( in Oz ). You may call it a Pick-Up . Photoshop has abbreviated it a bit , that's my fault .
