Wow, there are a few bridges like this here. One was just recently put as a do not use status. During the floods of 1993, here in Iowa I remember crossing one of these bridges. They definitely show the history of what use to be.

Hiya Mountain Magic,
Take Rte 225 to Pepperell Road and head towards Pepperell, Rte 119. It will be just after Wallace Road right around the "curvy" part of the road. You will see what looks like 2 walls into the side of an opening on the side of the road. The bridge is just beyond that opening, going over the river that runs there.

Where in Groton is the bridge? I lived down that way for sometime and I cant place it.
