I really like this photo James, DOF is out of this world. Only concern would be the clock tends to blend into the building a little on the left. Maybe play with the black and white conversion bars for the colors in Photoshop to make it stand out a little more from the building surface.

I like this one but I my eyes are 1st drawn to the clock then the bright shine in the middle of the photo. I really like the way this is composed but like Glenn said I would re-take this at a different time of day.

Huh, I was going to say that this one was the best of the three.
I really like it, I feel it has more to give than the other two.

A little too much contrast and get rid of the flare. I like the idea of focusing on the light and letting the rest of the shot drop out of focus. That will create a photograph that brings to mind the passage of time. It makes me wonder about the history of this place.

What is it that you're trying to show us? I'm guessing the clock, showing the name of the town cause that's what's in focus. It actually looks like you blurred out the background, because the windows behind the clock are still in focus. If you waited 5 more minutes you could've had the clock at 10:10. Kind of an advertising standard for time pieces.

Looks like the reflective shine is from lens flaring. Take it at different time of day where the sun is behind you.

i like the idea but i agree that this should be tried in landscape, and the 'reflective shine' is a bit distracting.
easy fixes though!!!

No! No! No! I don't know what is causing the fuzziness (poorly executed Scheimpflug Rule focus with a tilt-shift lens?) or the reflective shine but both detract from the story an old building like this has to tell.

I just think the blacks are too dark really , sorry but i think if you could brighten it up a bit and maybe take the shot again but landscape version i think this would work, i like the clock in the image, keep that and the tree in it, Right idea though.
