Poem: Broken

Listening to the rain
her tongue jewels the
moon and you can only
hear the sound of her
breath with the fog's sun.

A blanket for her depression.
Love to hide the treatment
like a bullet to the grass
the earth is on fire.

Out of focus
silence of words.
On the run her
ghost through
the night.
Sleeping with
a bug's wing
virgin planet
sorrow.

Why must
the gun
sleep when
the day has
no end...
