Comment by Dan Tubbs, Jr. on February 20, 2013 at 10:36am Beautiful capture. We live on the coast of northern California, also part of "the ring of fire," and have our share of earthquakes. Many happen miles off the coast, but we have had a few close calls. Fortunately most of the homes here are built out of wood and move back and forth and do not fall down.
