Baby no more

One day (weather you expect it or not ;-) a small package, addressed to you, comes to your life. Inside – cute small helpless being… there says it’s only yours… so it seams when you hold it in your arms :-)) but.. there is no manual!!! Soon after, another surprise comes (btw surprises never end:-)) – that wonderful fragile being gives you a lesson, one of many, and without warning: “Dear Daddy! I am removing you from your thrown and from now on I am the ruler of your world!” Hahaha… I have to admit this change was pretty terrifying in the beginning :-)) And so… you clap your hands, 4 years go by. As far as reign, things haven’t changed, SHE is still the boss! I no longer object against it. I am trying to save dignity and a little authority. :-) I can’t think of my life without my little miracle who is under my feet all the time and when I’m falling tired she has million of questions like : “Daddy… but why?” I could look at it like this – at least someone thinks I am the smartest and know all the answers :-))
As time passes by, you realize that “baby” is growing, and more she grows the moment when you have to let her spread the wings to fly away is closer. The thought comes to you how nicely would it be if she could stay “a baby”. However, I have accepted the fact that this process of growing up is irrefutable law of life. Whatever I do, she will grow up, and I won’t be able to be, physically, with her all her life. So, smartest thing you can do is to “ marinate” your kid in love through the years, to get all the “tools” for making a happy and fulfilled live and not to forget to enjoy the present time when that marvelous being comes, hugs you and says: “Daaaddy? I love you a lot and I’m proud of you ‘cos you are so good to me!” :-))
