Great shot, I love to take pictures of butterflies, and specilly Monarchs, look in my page, I have a very peculiar butterfly with transparent wings.

I have this lens and love it !!!
As far as comparing to the 60mm that'd depend on what you want out of the lens.
I bought it as a portrait lens that allows me to play with Macro photography which I had never done.
I've shot some flowers…
