There is a difference between those two lenses - Nikkor has VR (Vibration Reduction) and this model of Canon lens is made without IS (image stabilization), other specifications should be the same

Is that similar to Nikon's AF-s VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6 Lens?
