I took this shot on the 6th of July 2009, at sunset from the beach across my road – Weymouth Beach. I left after the sun went down, but noticed the clouds started turning bright orange as I was driving down the road – So I decided to pull over and take this shot.
The tide was out at this time, so the colours reflected nicely off the small puddles of water and glossy sand. It’s the first sunset I’ve watched in a while, I always seem to just miss them, but I was determined to watch tonight’s one.
