Good work Dan, the timing on these is very critical in winter - you may want to consider doing a bracket in the direction of overexposure in future then layering up the images so you can selectively erase areas you want to see more detail in.  This will help to gently lift any predominant black shadows, enabling you to keep the sky in range but with more detail in buildings and/or the forest area.
